There are many ways to support women in music. We appreciate your support. 

 

Your donations and support enable IAWM to fulfill its mission and vision. With your generous gifts, our programs continue to cultivate diversity and inclusivity throughout the world of classical music in countless facets. Our awards, grants, and advocacy efforts bring greater equity and awareness of the contributions of women in music.

ANY amount helps to support IAWM’s mission to foster the activities of women in music. Your donations are critical to support our concerts, conferences, grants, awards, and enables us to create  the Journal of the IAWM.

The International Alliance for Women in Music is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, incorporated in the State of Delaware, USA, with a federal identification number 52-1928872. The full amount of your gift may be deductible for federal income tax purposes to the extent of U.S. laws.

SPONSORSHIP

SPONSORSHIPS allow IAWM to provide programming that furthers our Mission and Vision, increasing the visibility and impact of our work.  Many of our Awards are only possible via named Sponsonrships. IAWM would like to add more opportunities to women in all areas of music. Large and small businesses – even individuals can sponsor an award, a grant, the production of our annual concert, our spotlight series, contribute to our conference and  more. Individual SPONSORS

Many women in music, cannot afford the cost of membership. We have a program that enables a person sponsor an annual student membership for $30, a professional membership is $75 or a senior membership for $50. Each sponsored membership enriches the recipient’s understanding of Women in Music and allows them to apply for all competitions and awards. They will also receive all issues of the Journal of the IAWM. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

 

INTERNSHIP

IAWM offers internship opportunities for students and recent graduates in music and arts administration. Interns will learn various aspects of non-profit organization and management. Interns will work remostey 10 hours per week under the mentorship of baord members, assisting the board and staff in operations tailored to the skills of the individual and the needs of IAWM. Interns are eligible for an honorarium of $500 upon completion for the duration of a semester. To learn more, visit https://iawm.org/internship-program-2024/. 

ADVERTISE

The ads in our journals reach hundreds of members and music institutions. Members and non-members can advertise in the IAWM Journal. As a benefit of membership, you can place an ad at a reduced rate! Deadlines are quarterly, February 28, May 30, August 30, and November 30. JOIN our IAWM BOARD

IAWM seeks engaged, dynamic, and diverse board members as we pivot into the biggest transition in our 25-year history. Our vision is to be the world’s leading organization devoted to the equity, promotion and advocacy of women in music across time, cultures, and genres.

The annual process begins annually June 15, with applications due in mid August, but opportunities occasionally arise during the year. We are especially seeking board members with skills in fundraising, marketing, membership, finance, website technology, global initiatives, equity, leadership advocacy, and relationship building.
