This grant helps teachers bring a greater focus on women in music to their students.

Winner of the IAWM 2022 Education Grant

Cimone Phillips was awarded the 2022 IAWM Education Grant for her project, Community Day Charter Public Schools Violin Program.

The $300 classroom grant helped elementary students at Cimone Phillips of Community Day Charter Public Schools (in MA, USA) both study and perform music by women composers. The grant also funded music and materials for students and a Women’s Month Recital in March 2023.
