Call for 2023 Education Grant and Programming Award September 2, 2023

The annual $300 Education Grant helps teachers in the classroom bring a greater focus on women in music to their students.
The IAWM annual Programming award of $300 recognizes and honors performers who have made deliberate, conscious
efforts to achieve greater gender equity in their programming.

Submission deadlines for the 2023 Vol. 4 journal are fast approaching. Remember, anyone can submit to the journal! If you have proposals, please send by September 15th, For articles, reports, member news and reviews, the deadline is September 30.
Former IAWM President Anna Rubin is joining IAWM's Editorial staff. In addition, we want to welcome Amy Ziegler from Salem College in North Carolina as our new Member News Editor.

EVE MEYER MEMORIAL FUND

As you know, Eve Meyer passed away this past spring. She lived out her passionate commitment to the organization as editor-in-chief of the IAWM Journal for almost its entire existence. It has been one of the most important and consistent offerings of IAWM for almost thirty years.
Many wish to express their deep appreciation of Eve and the legacy of her vision and work. Thus, we have created the Eve Meyer Memorial Fund, which will provide financial support for our Journal. To honor Eve Meyer and provide for the future of the IAWM Journal, please join us in contributing to this fund.
